Faith

Mounting on weak wings,

Tumbling into tomorrow,

Trusting the process.

I wrote this haiku a little over a week ago during a group writing exercise. Although it's short, it feels very meaningful to me. "Trust the process" is a phrase that was repeated countless times during a ministry training program in which I recently participated. When I feel anxious and overwhelmed, I try to remind myself to look to Him and continue to take small steps forward, trusting that He holds tomorrow. I think this is largely the essence of faith.

I'm praying that this poem will encourage you today, wherever you may find yourself.
