Hello everyone! As you might have been able to gather from the title, I decided to take this week off from regular posting. I plan to use this time to pray about the direction of the blog, as well as edit some poems that I intend to share down the road. I'll likely be back to posting next Thursday; if not, I'll give another update.
In the meantime, I encourage you to take a moment to focus on Jesus and thank Him for His Goodness. There's no one more worthy of our lives, time, or affection. I find myself continually drawn back to the truth that it's all about Him. Truly, the secret to experiencing peace is placing Him at the center of our universes. He's so much nearer, so much kinder, so much more exciting and glorious and beautiful than we could ever fathom.
I put together a list of 🎶a few of my favorite things🎶 to share with you. If you get the chance this week, I'd encourage you to check out at least one of these uplifting pieces of art!
"Graham Cooke - Inheritance (feat. Jonathan David Helser)": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q9PM7nriRxk. This video is such an incredible reminder of the Father's unconditional Love. The combination of music, visuals and teaching is especially powerful.
"The Butterfly Circus": https://vimeo.com/17150524. If you can carve 22 minutes out of your schedule to watch this short film, I believe it will be well worth your time. Although this film isn't overtly Christian, it tells such a moving story of transformation and redemption. That being said, if you're a kid/young teenager you might want to ask your parents before watching this. It has some emotionally heavy scenes.
"Dancing" by Elevation Worship (feat. Joe L Barnes and Tiffany Hudson). This song is a favorite in my family.
Praying you all have a good week! :)
