The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse

Hi, friend! Hopefully the above image doesn't make you shudder. We still have plenty of summer and warm weather ahead of us - the picture just ties into the subject of this post. :)

Today I want to spotlight a short film called "The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse".

It follows a little boy as he wanders through a wintry landscape in search of home, and ends up forming friendships along the way. Although the film is animated (the animation is stunning, by the way), it's incredibly deep, and can be enjoyed by people of all ages. Here are two of my favorite quotes from the film:

"Asking for help isn't giving up, it's refusing to give up."

"You know, sometimes your mind plays tricks on you. It can tell you you are no good, that it’s all hopeless. But I’ve discovered this - you are loved and important, and you bring to this world things that no one else can. So hold on."

It was difficult to choose which quotes to include because every line is so profound and healing. "The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse" can be streamed through Apple TV. The film was based off a book by the same name, which I have not read but have heard is wonderful.
